Think of a particular store name, then fill out your store profile, including a compelling resume and a high-quality banner picture. Make sure your store policies, such as shipping, returns, and customer service, are clear and concise.

StoreMr--Saltine:

I'm trying to sell a t-shirt on Etsy, using Printify to make the shirts. I've come to a roadblock in the setup of the store on etsy. It requires "Item Weight" and "Item Size (when packed)". but i don't have that info because i'm not making it myself. Are there general package dimensions and t-shirt weights i could put in these boxes? I've looked and can't find anything.

alwyschasingunicorns:

You'll be publishing your listings from printify, not creating them in etsy. Have you linked printify to your Etsy store? Have you created a product and published it to your Etsy page? The listing you create in printify will sync all of those details to etsy for you. I would look up some YT tutorials on how to create a listing for etsy through printify.

BingBong8457:

I am in the same boat as OP. I tried to create an etsy store but it says I need a product to sell before I am allowed to make the store. I'm sure I'm just being dumb, but how do I get around this?

alwyschasingunicorns:

You'll want to open your Etsy store first. In the store creation process, etsy will have you create a listing. It will cost .20 and the listing can be deleted after you open. You have to go through the entire etsy opening process before you can sync printify to your store.

After the etsy setup is completely finished, you'll want to sync it to your printify account through printify. I believe their faq's can walk you through the entire setup.

Edited to add that once you sync your store, you'll then publish your listings through printify. After publishing them, you'll have to then go into etsy and add your pictures and tags. You'll have to change your shipping and add printify as a production partner, but these can be found in their faq's and there are tons of free tutorials on YouTube that will walk you through everything. They're all very helpful imo.
