Effective December 13, 2024, the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) is a key EU regulation ensuring that all non-food consumer products sold in the EU are safe. If you sell to EU customers, this applies to you.

Does This Regulation Apply to You?

✅ YES – If you sell products in the EU, you must comply.
❌ NO – If you don’t sell in the EU, this does not affect your business.

Steps to Comply with GPSR

1️⃣ Update Your Product Listings
Your product pages must include:

• Manufacturer’s contact information or a responsible person in the EU.
• Product details (such as descriptions and specifications).
• Safety and compliance information (warnings, if applicable).

2️⃣ Include the Correct Manufacturer or Responsible Person Details

• If you are based in the EU → Use your own name and contact information.
• If you are outside the EU → You must list a responsible EU-based contact.

3️⃣ How to Update Your Store

• Use PrintKK’s updated product lists to ensure compliance.
• Copy and paste the relevant safety and contact details into your store listings.
• If selling on marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Etsy), non-compliance could result in product removal from EU buyers.

Amazon Sellers – GPSR Safety Attestation

Amazon asks if a product requires warnings or safety information.
✅ Select “Yes” for PrintKK products, as they do not have safety or hazard warnings.

Two-Year Warranty Requirement

Under EU Directive 1999/44/EC, sellers must provide a refund or replacement within two years if a product is faulty or doesn’t match its advertised description.

🛑 This does NOT apply to defects caused by normal wear and tear.

Ensuring Compliance
